I’ve just hanged a wooden wind chime outside my bedroom window. I’ve got a thing for them, I like the way they sound every now and then, and how you can hear when the rain is coming (which is happening right now)
Once when I was a kid I gave my grandmother a really cheap one for her birthday, it was made of aluminum so it sounded like tin, but it was the only one I could buy. She loved it and put it behind her front door, as if she wanted to hear it all the time, she was such a sweetheart.
